The Board of Trustees have adopted the following policy to make training available for eligible members of IUOE Locals 302 and 612: Training participants must have a minimum of 200 hours working within the last 2 years for a contributing employer. (A contributing employer is one who contributes to the training fund).  If members have less than 200 hours, they will be placed on a stand-by list and contacted if there are additional openings.

*New for 2011: Active members that have not worked in the last few years may still be eligible to take training courses. Contact the Training Center now to request courses.

Members who have not taken any training in the last two years will take priority over those who have to ensure everyone has the chance to participate in a class of their choice.

Training Deposit:

A $25 Training Deposit (one fee per season) must be received by the Training Center before you can be placed on a waiting list or in a training course. The deposit can be paid with a debit or credit card over the phone or a check or money can be mailed to the Training Center. This deposit is used as an effort to eliminate members not showing up for their scheduled courses and depriving others the opportunity to take training. If you must cancel your attendance in a course, reasonable notice must be given to the Training Center office to find your replacement in the course, otherwise you will forfeit your training deposit. If all requirements are met throughout the season, your $25 deposit will be refunded to you.
