- Online Application: You must fill out the application online and hit "SUBMIT"
- Resume: Include Personal and Work History. Personal History: Personal accomplishments obtained in high school, college, hobbies, etc. Work History: Note employers, length of employment, job responsibilities, and reason for termination. Add any other information you feel would be beneficial. (NOTE: Be specific about maintenance background and equipment operation. Please include type of work, number of months/hours, etc.)
- Copy of Diploma(s) (High School, College, Vocational, GED, high school equivalency, etc.) *Make sure you state if you completed a Pre-Apprenticeship Program - list the program and year completed. If you do not have this requirement, but have 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, you may be eligible to apply for the education waiver. You must submit proof of experience and score 70% on both math & reading assessment exams.
- Letters of Recommendation: A minimum of one and no more than three (preferably from previous employers, but can be from co-workers, friends, family, etc).
- Copy of valid Driver's License
- Copy of Social Security Card (If you are missing your card, contact the SS Office and request a new card be sent to you. Submit the paperwork showing you have requested a replacement).
- Copy of your Birth Certificate or Valid Passport
- Veterans: Include military records (DD214), if applicable.
- Include any additional material you feel is important
The application is now completely online and can only be submitted electronically. The required documents listed above can be uploaded to the online application or emailed, mailed, or faxed to the Training Office.
It is your responsibility to call the Training Office to ensure your documents are received and your application is complete before the deadline. Documents and Applications submitted after the deadline may not be accepted and you will have to apply for next year's Apprenticeship program.
