Includes SMAW, MIG, TIG, Oxayacetylene cutting and welding, air-carbon arc process and the safety aspects of these processes. Self-study and homework consists of print-reading for welding textbook.

Consists of classroom and shop instruction of the theory and principles of DC electrical systems on mobile equipment. Items covered are starting and charging systems, batteries, warning and monitoring systems, sensors, electrical schematic reading, T/S and diagnostics of control modules using multimeters, oscilloscopes, testing equipment. Self-study and homework consists of Modern Diesel Technology Electricity and Electronics textbook.

Consists of classroom and shop instruction of different powertrains systems on heavy equipment and the trucking industry. Hydrostatic systems and powershift transmissions, clutches, drivelines, track systems, manual transmissions, differentials. Self-study and homework consists of Heavy Equipment Systems textbook.
